This game has no reason to be over 40GB, and I should not have been led to believe by the system requirements that it was only going to be 25.Īgain, what is your expertise on the subject, and what evidence do you have to prove that the game shouldn't be over 40 gigs?Įven ignoring all of that, though, developers and publishers need to be mindful of just how widespread data caps are and offer options to accomodate users stuck under them, including the ability to download an out-of-date version of a title and update it later when the cap is reset.

That is not right.Īnd what qualifies you to draw the conclusion that the game is bloated? I should not have to deal with developers writing ridiculously overbloated programs and then shafting consumers by making it a standard. Originally posted by asmcint:No, I should not have to deal with it.

Really I should be on the 350GB cap instead of 250 because they upgraded me for free to the 50MBPS plan, but I've had no luck getting that to stick. They give you two overages where they won't charge you initially(but you get charged for every 50GB you use afterwards), and after the third they charge you for the initial overage and for every 50GB you use afterwards. If nothing else call your ISP and ask if there is a way to remove to limit or how hard they inforce it like I said alot here in the US don't inforce it unless your constantly shooting over your limits every month. Don't know if your the bill payer in your house hold, but in my area buy buying into a big bundle I was able to get a massive increase in DL speeds and eliminate the limits on everything. This game is massive download but really not to crazy i've hit a few games recently 30+ gig as graphics and games get more features they are going to get larger and larger. As time goes by games are going to get bigger and bigger, It does suck for anyone with a limit and more people have limits then they realize just most companies only really inforce it if your always going crazy over each month so they don't see the limit they have. I remember years ago when 20 gigs was sending people with limits sceaming now it's a normal thing.Īll i can really say get use to it. Games and their downloads have been growing lately, especially since the switch to Blu-Ray for both Microsoft and Sony's consoles. the Master Chief Collection on the Xbone is over 60GBs.
